Weekender Fill-a-Bag sale vintage dress and jacket, Ray Ban suglasses, Coach purse (sold out), Kmart shoes (similar here) I've never been Black Friday shopping in my life, and I honestly don't ever plan on it. Traffic stresses me out, and I don't have trouble finding deals regularly. That being said, I think the Fill-a-Bag sale that I mentioned last week is the closest I will come to Black Friday. The event was even bigger than last year, because Highway Robbery, Three Rivers, Clothes Minded, Black Lodge, Royal Pittsburgh, and Kitschtopia collaborated to put it on. Early Bird was at 10 am on Friday, and there was a $10 cover charge. I decided that with all the other stores collaborating as well, the cover was likely worth it. My mom and I got up early, and headed down to Southside to meet two of my other friends. We arrived at 9:45 and the line was already super long! Thankfully, they got us in quickly, but it was crazy! There were huge piles of clothes to root through, and people were nearly running at first. All of the excitement was well worth it. Between my mom and I, we came away with three full bags ($10) of dresses, leather jackets, tops, and skirts. I was so excited about all of the finds that I washed one of the dresses and wore it with one of the jackets that night. I wore the jacket again that Sunday. It's perfect for late spring nights and dreary 60 degree days that you're hiding in a coffee shop.
