Vintage Valentine Daywear
I'm so excited to finally share these photographs with you all! I'm quite the romantic and an old soul, so a vintage Valentine's shoot was a dream come true. I'll be sharing three more looks before Valentine's Day, so stay tuned! All of the shots were taken at my parent's home. My dad designed and decorated much of the house, keeping within 1920s-40s design aesthetics. He has so many amazing antiques, including a phone booth and a record machine! It's no wonder I became vintage obsessed.
This vintage dress is from Three Rivers Vintage in Southside. If you haven't been there, you seriously need to go! The expansive collection is in pristine condition, and all of it is freshly dry-cleaned. The prices are also very reasonable.
This 50's dress is such a great piece. The texture is interesting, yet it still feels soft against my skin, and the cut is perfect. I love wearing this dress, because it makes me feel feminine, put together, and a bit demure! I can't wait to wear this piece to work on Valentine's Day! What are you looking forward to wearing? Tell me in the comments!
All photographs were taken by Allie Stewart. She is extremely talented and such a bright light. I'm so lucky to call her a friend and have the chance to work with her. Visit her website here to check out more of her work!
