Get The Look: The Philadelphia Story
Wear Liz. Look Tracy.

Three Rivers Vintage helped me select this gorgeous 1940s two piece suit. The color was a major draw for me. The suit is practical, but makes a huge statement. This suit reminded me of something Liz would wear in the film. Stylish, simple, feminine, and fuss free.

I paired the blazer with jeans for a more chill vibe, perfect for going out after work. For the look as a whole, I did my makeup and hair more like Tracy Lord (played by Katherine Hepburn) in the film, but I kept my outfit simple and practical like Liz Imbrie (played by Ruth Hussey). Tracy is often described as a "far away goddess" and she wears elaborate outfits in each scene, but Liz is a wise, down to earth working woman whose style is anything, but frivolous.
