Shop Local Gift Guide
Because Pittsburgh has the small-town, big city vibe going on, there are tons of small businesses. While we’re small, Pittsburgh has an incredible (& rapidly growing!) food scene, tons of coffee shops and breweries, and tons of boutiques! I’ve rounded up my favorite things from my favorite local businesses that I think would make perfect, unique, useful gifts!
Coffee Passport: Coffee Passports are $20 and allow you to try one coffee at ten different shops around Pittsburgh. Not only is a great deal on your coffee, (I could spend $20 at 3-4 shops!), but it is the perfect gift for the person who always wants to try new places and explore their city.
Havana’s Heyday Vintage Jewelry: I partnered with Havana’s Heyday this past year for my classic movie challenge, and I fell IN LOVE with their selection. They sell curated, one-of-a-kind vintage pieces for a reasonable price. Plus, a portion of the proceeds support Dress for Success charity and the Colorectal Cancer Alliance.
Bombash Botanical: Nearly everyone enjoys bath & body products. Bombash Botanical is located in Peters Township, and offers a variety of products made from real essential oils. My favorite product from them is their lemon grapefruit body whip. Super moisturizing, decadent, and reminds me of summer all year round.
Glass Blowing: I’ve blown glass twice now at Vessel Studios, and it is such a unique experience! Book a session for a friend, and they can make their own ornaments
Hot Haute Hot: I found the most unique gifts here, and they’re not outrageously priced. If you need a Secret Santa gift, head here for sure! The wine glasses with the Pittsburgh coordinates can be found here! Their jewelry selection is also wayyy prettier than any mall retailer’s.
So this Christmas, shop local, and score some thoughtful, unique finds!
