Virgins on the Verge

Here are some photos my talented friend Tristan, of Impression Lasting, took to promote my upcoming song recital, Virgins on the Verge. The program will feature songs exploring the psyches of women such as Ophelia, Mirabai, and the Virgin Mary. Highlights of the program are Strauss's Ophelia Lieder, John Harbison's Mirabai Songs with a full chamber orchestra, and Purcell's The Blessed Virgin's Expostulation. I tried my best to emulate Ophelia in this shoot. We shot at Schenley Lake, and I still can't believe I got in that water...
