Happy Memorial Day

 

My dad owns a 1943 Willy's MB, and we have the opportunity to ride in our community parade. We reenact allied forces from World War II to honor the sacrifices of The Greatest Generation. Today, my mom dressed as a civilian, I wore an original WAVE seersucker work uniform, and my dad wore army summer khakis with the 8th service command patch. For four years now, I have had the honor of singing the national anthem at the ceremony following the parade. I hope you celebrate this day with your community and remember those that made the ultimate sacrifice defending freedom.
